This foam bodied frog is an excellent bass fly. The rear legs are tied with a support system to keep them from fouling on the hook. The eyes are self adhesive and super-glued for additional durability. The black version (not illustrated) is intended to be fished at night for largemouth bass and lunker brown trout. As this fly is rather wind resistant a slowed, deliberate casting stroke is required. A 6-weight fly rod throws the size 6 easily, the size 2 is best cast with a 7-weight or heavier. Tied on a Tiemco 8089 chemically sharpened stinger hook.
