The Nuke Egg is a McFly foam egg tied with a yarn collar. The size 12 is highly recommended by river guides on the famed Pere Marquette river for smaller, clear water that has heavy angler pressure. The larger size 8 is a great pattern for stained waters, and larger river systems. The larger nuke egg is tied with Kevlar thread while the smaller size is tied with gel spun thread, both thread types result in increased durability. The size 8 is tied on a Daiichi X510 egg hook, and the number 12 is tied on a Daiichi X120 scud hook. Both are X-Point, heavy wire hooks.
