Stimulator

Is it a stone fly, a hopper, or something else altogether? While this fly is noted for being effective in the late Summer and Fall, I’ve found that this pattern works well all season long. Stimulators float exceptionally well making them a wise choice for an indicator fly when using a nymph as a dropper. Tied on a Daiichi 1270 curved shank chemically sharpened dry fly hook.
