The War Bird is basically a black Woolly Bugger with silicone legs and antenna. This fly is very productive fished either as a streamer or as a stonefly nymph imitation. Tied on a Daiichi 1720 (barbed), or a Tiemco 5263BL (barbless), 3x long chemically sharpened hook.
