Paul Goodman gave me this suggestion as a modification of the Schmidt’s Caddis. I tied them up and they worked like a charm. This is a great steelhead fly for both the Fall and Spring. It is highly effective on streams that run clear and get heavy angler pressure. The Caddis Nymph is tied on a Daiichi X-point, X120, heavy wire scud hook .
